Set of four high quality, natural 90mm / 9cm / 3.5" beech wood spheres, hand crafted in the UK from a single piece of wood. The material is 100% natural, untreated local grown beechwood. The balls are hand turned and then sanded to a very smooth finish. Every single sphere is unique in appearance. Weight is 1040 grams / 35.24 ounces. The balls are organic and suitable as toys or decorative displays. Due to the hand crafted nature, they are fully spherical to the eye but not suitable for applications where a perfectly technical sphere is required (such as a billiard / pool ball for example).
The orbits are suitable to play with, as decorative elements, doll making, on their own or as part of a furniture construction, they can be used for crafts projects and can even be used as tai chi balls. They are perfectly well suited to be painted.
